Uganda Water Project

Uganda Water Project, founded by Claremont Rotary, will provide clean, portable water to a community of 3500 in the village of Kyabasaija, Uganda. Normally children walk great distances after school to draw water for their family from an unclean water source; but thanks to this program that will change. Claremont Rotary’s goal is to purchase the Villager First Water purification system – a permanently mounted, solar powered, water pump system. Not only will the children of Kyabasaija have clean water to drink and bathe in, they will no longer have to walk long distances to access it, as the water will be delivered to village residents!
