Chair Message

As Chair of the 22nd Annual Taste of Claremont event, I personally welcome each and every one of you! It has been my honor to watch this year’s planning committee go out of their way to help our Club meet its goal of “Service Above Self”.

As a little girl growing up in Claremont I watched my grandfather and father join and grow the Rotary Club to become one of the largest service clubs in Claremont. Our reach is local and international, supporting vital programs at home and around the world. I’m thrilled to open our doors to our biggest event of the year!

Over thirty five of the most vital local businesses will treat over a thousand friends and neighbors to some of the best food, drink, art and music that Claremont has to offer. Meanwhile, you will have helped us support all of the projects that we hold dear to our hearts. Again, I am delighted to welcome all of you to come together to celebrate Claremont and all the good we can do together! Enjoy!

With over 1100 guests in attendance at last year’s festive event, The Taste of Claremont 2022 was a huge success. More than 35 local restaurants, wineries, and breweries proudly provided samples of their wares. Guests were treated to live music, an art exhibition, and raffle prizes. Through the generous support of our guests and sponsors, we raised over $70,000.00 for the Claremont Rotary Foundation, which directly benefits charitable organizations in our community and internationally.

I invite you to dine, enjoy the live music, and spend an evening with your friends at the 22nd Annual Taste of Claremont, knowing your participation will support local and global efforts to help those in need. This year’s event will feature more delicious food, wine and craft beer from our local establishments. Returning guests will be pleased to see many familiar vendors from prior events along with some new vendors and new treats. Work by local artists will be on display and for sale. A cornucopia of raffle prizes will also be available.

All proceeds from this event go to the Claremont Rotary Foundation. The following is a list of organizations and projects which are currently receiving support from the Foundation.
